The latest round of meetings with management have been cancelled - at their request - here's a copy of the original e-mail cancelling the meeting sent at 10 to 5 on the day before:
Unfortunately, tomorrow's meeting with the support unions has been cancelled. Further options and costings are being carried out to provide additional recommendations. Sorry for this late announcement.
The meetings were called to discuss the rise in the number of red circled posts - something that ourselves and Unison weren't happy with.
Following that we had a scheduled JSCNC on the wednesday - that too was cancelled. However we had a brief meeting with Alan Sibbald who is now proposing a support staff only meeting to discuss the way forward given our concerns. He said that at that meeting he hoped to bring further proposals to the table that would help to reduce the number or red circled posts.
